Fox Theatre tickets & upcoming events

The Fox Theatre in Detroit is one of those places that just oozes history and charm. You know, it’s not just a venue; it’s a landmark that’s hosted some pretty iconic moments, like the world premiere of The Great Gatsby back in 2013. Imagine being in that grand, velvet-draped space, feeling like you’ve stepped back in time. The restoration in the early 2000s, which cost around six million bucks, totally transformed it, the lobby’s gold leaf accents shimmer like nothing else, and the intricate ceiling murals are straight out of a Hollywood movie set. If you’re into a chill vibe during shows, the Mezzanine is perfect, cozy but still lively. The Orchestra section gives you all kinds of seating options, whether you're rolling solo or with a crew. And for the out-of-towners, especially from Canada, just hop in the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel, follow the signs, turn onto Mack Avenue after I-75, and you’re there. Honestly, whether you’re craving a Nutcracker ballet, a stand-up comedy show like Jo Koy’s, or just a night out with friends, the Fox’s staff goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smooth. Plus, the interactive seating chart makes picking your perfect spot super easy, aisle seats, front row, VIP sections, you name it. Trust me, catching a show here feels like a special event every time.
